Data controller
Mraen Bilişim ve İnternet Hizmetleri Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("EmporNAT"; Güneşli Tax Office, tax number 6231059299; email empornat@empornat.com) processes your personal data as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), as described in this notice. This notice covers visitors to our website and people who write to us; customers receive a separate notice before signing.
Personal data we process
Through the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your company name and phone number, the content of your message and the topic you chose. We do not store your IP address or browser details with form submissions.
Server logs
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, our web server logs the IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, the referring page and the browser details of every request.
Direct correspondence
When you write to empornat@empornat.com or to us directly, we process your message and contact details to answer you and to conduct pre-contract discussions. This correspondence rests on the same legal bases as contact form records and is kept for the same period.
Purposes
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote for the service you ask about and conduct pre-contract discussions, and to keep our systems secure and prevent abuse.
Legal basis
Contact form data and server logs are processed by automatic and partly automatic means. Contact form data rests on KVKK art. 5/2(c), as directly related to the formation of a contract, and art. 5/2(f), our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. Server logs rest on art. 5/2(f), our legitimate interest in information security.
Recipients
Your personal data is transferred only to Hetzner Online GmbH, which provides our server infrastructure, as a data processor and for hosting purposes, and to competent public authorities where there is a lawful request. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.
Transfer abroad
Your personal data is processed in Hetzner Online GmbH's data centre in Finland, that is, abroad. This transfer is based on the standard contract published by the Personal Data Protection Board under KVKK art. 9/4(b), and the contract is notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority within five business days of signature. Customers who ask for hosting in another location are told separately which country their data is processed in.
Retention
Contact form records are kept for 2 years after your enquiry is closed, and server logs for 1 year. Data past its retention period is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to have it corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deleted or destroyed under KVKK art. 7; to have those corrections and deletions notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to an outcome against you that arises solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Send your request, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, from the email address you previously gave us to empornat@empornat.com, or in writing to our registered office. We answer within 30 days, free of charge.
